CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1997 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Lowell A, owner of a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan from Mound, MN

It has been quite a while since I have done any body work on cars. I have to say that the Automotive Touch Up base coat and clear coat wound up a perfect match on my vehicle. After I got the rust out and sanding done, the coats went on smoothly. The result is OK(mostly my body filling technique)but the color is right on. I have to do some extra buffing on the repair site and I expect I can even out the blend. I appreciate the fast service on the paint delivery and the excellent color match. I would certainly use your products again in the future. Also, the video tips on your web site are very helpful. As in anything, the more times I do this, the better my results will be.

David L, owner of a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan from Quincy, MI

Edward H, owner of a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan from Pequannock, NJ

Thank you very much. Even though my vehicle is a 1997, your paint matched perfectly. The areas that I had to spray, really could not tell the difference. A great job, thank you again for such quality. Will highly recommend you to my friends. Ed from NJ
