To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1997 Chevrolet Celta, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. Hey guys as anybody who owns an astro van knows the paint on the hood and the roof always wears off and that's my project. I looked in all the part stores for touch-up paint and could not find anything even close. When I received your product in the mail I took the gas cap off to test the color and painted half of it, when it dried I could not see any differences between the two sides, the match was perfect . I got the sand paper kit and clear coat to go with the paint for the hood and roof and can't wait to get started on it.
