CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1997 Chevrolet Blazer, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 Chevrolet Blazer is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Ralph F, owner of a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer from Fairless Hills, PA

Just finished repair, paint was a dead match. I am very impressed with paint quality, spray nozzle, ease of use. I was skeptical getting spray can, color match and spray ability, I am totally happy with your product. I will definitely will be a repeat customer.

Joe L, owner of a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer from Hazlet, NJ

The Chevy Blazer caramel metallic was a perfect match improving the appearance 100%. I will be ordering more and adding other orders for the other cars that I restore.

Robert S, owner of a 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo from Lansing, IL

Very pleased with the quality and color match of your paint. It sprayed, covered and blended in really nice. Plus we did not have to buy more paint than we needed. Bob S. Chicago Il
