Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2000 BMW M3 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Henry V, owner of a 2000 BMW M Roadster from Corvallis, OR

Great communication. Answered all my questions and item was packaged well. Extra stir sticks, filters and advice were free

Fred, owner of a 2001 BMW 7-Series from Punta Gorda FL

I have used your touch-up paint in a bottle for nicks and ding with great success. This was my first experience with your aerosol products. Kudos to your formulation techs for your aerosols for formulating a perfect product. Your aerosol paints are some of the best formulations I have used. The color match base coat was spot on and clear coat brought out the metallic. What was most impressive was how both sprayed perfectly smooth; as good as if I used an airbrush. I have 30 years experience in the industrial paint manufacturing business so I know first hand how difficult it is to formulate an aerosol paint to spray perfectly, let alone a metallic. In addition you technically have selected the correct aerosol nozzle which produces an air brush type finish. The base coat went on smooth with no orange peel, no bubbles, no dry spray or runs; just a smooth wet coat which dried perfectly smooth. The gloss clear coat was perfect as well. It went on wet but allowed for multiple coats and dried perfectly smooth. It completed the color match. Kudos to everyone at Automotive Touchup! Best in the business.
