CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1998 BMW M3, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The paint code can be located underneath the hood near the front strut tower, on the firewall, or the passenger side wheel housing. Click here for BMW paint code location chart and paint code label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1998 BMW M3 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Bobby, owner of a 1998 BMW M3 from Los Angeles, CA

The delivery was somewhat long, but to be fair, delivery time was revealed at the time of order, so not a big deal. I am happy with the product and the paint was a great match I thought.....Will definitively use this product in future. THX!

Rich M, owner of a 1998 BMW M3 from Irwin, PA

paint is a good match and the bottle with the brush makes it easy to use with no clean-up. this is a long term project and I will be using more touch-up as I progress.

Sejdi B, owner of a 1998 BMW M3 from Mohegan Lake, NY

I used this paint on both my car, my family car is brown and my sport car is silver and automotive touchup worked Perfectly on matching. My brother would say the same thing for his cars but he's too good for reviews but if you knew him he would tell you this company is the best that’s how I found this paint. You get what you pay for so don't be cheap because it's not easy to fix painted mistakes. Good luck!

Byron Willliams, owner of a 1998 BMW M3 from Wooster, OH

Once again, I received the products as specified. Your continue to offer quality products at a very competitive price and our family business appreciates your attention to detail. It is very familiar to us...:{)

Simon Collins, owner of a 1998 BMW M3 from Arcadia, California

I purchased a can of aerosol spray paint to complete some body repair work on my driver's door, BMW hellrot red 314. If there is such a thing as perfectly matched paint, this was it, absolutely perfect. On top of that, the paint provided excellent coverage over gray primer. After a second thin coat, the primer was no longer visible and there was no color difference/shift between the primed area and the surrounding original paint. Finally, the aerosol can had tons of propellant and the nozzle was comfortable, easy to use and keep clean.Absolutely thrilled.
