Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 BMW X6 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Simon Collins, owner of a 1998 BMW M3 from Arcadia, California

I purchased a can of aerosol spray paint to complete some body repair work on my driver's door, BMW hellrot red 314. If there is such a thing as perfectly matched paint, this was it, absolutely perfect. On top of that, the paint provided excellent coverage over gray primer. After a second thin coat, the primer was no longer visible and there was no color difference/shift between the primed area and the surrounding original paint. Finally, the aerosol can had tons of propellant and the nozzle was comfortable, easy to use and keep clean.Absolutely thrilled.

Chris E, owner of a 1998 BMW from Houston, TX

A lot easier than I thought. Excellent color match.
