Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 BMW Alpina XB7 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Donald C, owner of a 1998 BMW 5-Series from Saratoga, CA

Outstanding color match. I did a small repair job using your paint, Canyon Red, a maroon color for a BMW. With the clear coat and some polishing compound it turned out to be impossible to see the repaired area. Great stuff. Thanks, will come back again I'm sure. D. Cappy

Skyraider33, owner of a 1998 BMW 3-Series from Selma, NC

I ordered touch up paint for the body of my 1998 BMW 323is; Cosmo Black Metallic with great results. There were multiple chips in the paint from the previous owners (4) and 16 years of time to deal with. So far I have only used the base paint and clear coat on the worse small chips with perfect color match results. My parents worked for the country's largest and oldest commercial paint company, SW, so I know a lot more about paint than the average Joe. Automotive Touch up company is a high quality company offering hard to find original factory colors at very reasonable prices. You have to pay a bit more for good quality, and this company's product is just that, high quality. I did the test paint to the card provided with my shipment first. Once dried, I laid the test card on the hood of my car and you could not tell where the card stopped and the hood started, that's how well the match of the factory color was. I will be reordering more paint for my car in the future and some for the parking lot damage on my wife's car as well. For anyone who is skilled enough and use all the proper prep methods before applying their touch up paint will be very happy with the results. In closing, if you want to touch up paint chips, scratches, or areas of faded paint on your vehicle, Automotive Touchup company is where you need to go for the paint that will restore the value and beauty to near factory original status.
