Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1997 BMW Alpina B7 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jonathan M, owner of a 1998 BMW 3-Series Cabrio from Brampton, ON

To quickly summarize, AutomotiveTouchup ended up expensive for a Canadian but the color match was very good and worth the extra cost. After trying a locally sourced mix for around $25CAD we were extremely disappointed with the colour match, I had seen AutomotiveTouchup recommended online and decided it was worth giving a shot. Being in Canada it ended up being quite pricey to import an Aerosol Spray Paint for a '98 BMW 323is, after shipping, taxes & exchange around $65CAD for a simple can of base coat (clear and primer were sourced locally). But the colour match was much better, the card ended up extremely close, the repaired area did end up a little darker but that was probably prep related and it's still quite acceptable for performing an inexpensive rust repair on a 18 year old car. While AutomotiveTouchup might end up a bit pricey I would not hesitate to recommend them for any touch-up paints, their colour matches are very good.

Michael F, owner of a 1998 BMW 7-Series from Flushing, NY

This is the second time that I have ordered this product ( orient blue metallic" ) it matches the color to my car perfectly. I used the pen for the real fine scratches and the 2oz. Bottles to spray. I am very happy with the results and will continue to purchase in the future. ( a great match" )
