To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2000 Mercedes-Benz E Class, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. The match is very good. I would suggest you provide more info about the necessity of excellent prep work (Sanding) to get a high quality finish. We are planning on giving this car to a kid and wanted to eliminate as much sign of age as possible and we are very satisfied with the end product. This is an old Mercedes that is in excellent shape but the body and paint was showing its age.
