Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1983 Jeep (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Dan D, owner of a 1983 Jeep from Boulder, CO

Great customer service, exact match. The spray can I originally received had been slightly used and they replaced it. Impressed with their approach to business. Good paint.

David C, owner of a 1983 Jeep from Fort Lauderdale, FL

Great match up, thanks, good job and will order again.

Jim, owner of a 1983 Jeep from Deland, FL

I am not a painter of any kind, even my wife will not let me paint in the house. I have always been interested in restoration of motorcycles and vehicles and so this is how I learned about your product when searching the web. Being retired, I looked for a restoration project. I found a 1983 Jeep CJ7 with minimal wear however the paint was real bad, worn down to the metal in some areas. I purchased this as a restoration project. The Jeep still had the original paint. I ordered factory 1983 Jeep Sebring Red paint in Aerosol spray cans, red primer and clear coat for this project. There was no body repair so all I did was mask it, prime it and paint it. Sanding as needed between coats. Wow, what a difference when using your product. No dripping, no runs. Your paint matched so well I was able to fade into existing painted areas that were still good. I have never painted with a spray can before but found yours to be outstanding! The nozzle sprays wide, not like what you find at your local auto store. I highly recommend your product to anyone needing to spray small areas or even a whole vehicle like what I did. The trick was to not get in a hurry, overlap your spray, do many layers and put on a lot of clear coat when finished. Buff later with polish. The project lasted two weeks but only two days for priming and painting. Everything was done in my garage. Thank You, I will highly recommend your product to others. Jim
