Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1998 Honda Hr-V is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Miguel Cambra, owner of a 1999 Honda Civic Coupe from Towson Maryland

Hi guys, my name is Miguel. I'm a mechanic in Timonium, Maryland. I wanted to thank you for the great work you did on my order . The price, the delivery speed, were all great, but the best part of all was the quality. The paint was an exact match! Everything worked perfectly, and for some reason the color I got was a hard color to get in a spray can, but you guys had it. I will be using Automotive touch up again in the future. I will and would recommend you to everybody! Thanks again!

Todd K, owner of a 1999 Honda Odyssey from Houston, TX

I was pleasantly surprised. I painted a new aftermarket black primered fender for my '99 Ody. One can was enough. Color and metallic flake is an exact match. Then used 2k clear coat. You can only tell a difference if you get up close. Original is smoother and glossier. Of course I could probably use rubbing compound to remedy this, but I'm not likely to that on a car with 260k miles on it. Todd K.
