Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2018 BMW Motorcycle is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Thomas L, owner of a 2018 BMW Motorcycle from Flanders, NY

I purchased the full aerosol repair kit in “Black Storm Metallic.” The primer and base coat worked well once I was able to attach a spray can attachment. That worked best for me in that I had a difficult time operating the push button with my 75 year old fingers! My problem and the failure of the job is with my ability to apply the clear coat without getting tiny air bubbles in the paint from the can. I tried over and over, having to sand off the clear and start over. The weather was perfect. 75 degrees, no wind and 40 % humidity for over a week. Not having purchased from Automotive Touchup before I am surprised that the clear coat cans do not have a shaker ball inside. Hope this helps someone else, and best of luck from an inexperienced rookie.

Michael R, owner of a 2017 BMW X5 from Drexel Hill, PA

Exact color match. Excellent products.

Mitch A, owner of a 2017 BMW 5-Series from Henderson, NV

Well, one of those concrete parking stops really scratched the left underside of my 2017 540i BMW front end right down to the black rubber. Not really noticeable but I knew it was there and it drove me nuts. Ordered Automotive Touchup sandpaper, activator, primer, paint and clear. The Alpine 300 white was a perfect match and with a little rubbing compound and a very little elbow grease the finished product is an excellent match. Since the white doesn’t have any metallic there’s no chip direction and it didn’t matter how many coats or spray direction, which gave me non-noticeable finished product. I’d use this paint and process again.
