The color and shininess are pretty close to the original ones in the car. I worked with a high quality 1" brush because the smaller ones built-in the bottles were not adequate for the size of the repair. This is the second vehicle that I have purchased touch-up paint for. In both cases the vehicles have metallic colors which are the hardest to match. I needed to touch up some minor chips and for small spots like that the paint works very well. If you get up very close you can see the repair but from a couple of feet you would never notice it. So overall I am happy. The paint holds up very well and prevents any rust from forming . So for the very small investment, it protects your vehicle from the eventual rust, if left unpainted and it looks good too.
