CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2017 Toyota 86, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example. Click here for Toyota paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2017 Toyota 86 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Sasha A, owner of a 2017 Toyota 86

I ordered Toyota/Subaru M7Y for my 2017 Toyota 86 in an aerosol spray bottle. After 2-3 base-coats and then 4-5 clear coats the color was a dead on 1:1 match. I was initially worried since the 2017 Toyota 86 actually uses a slightly lighter shade of the red than the usual M7Y used by Subaru and Toyota but I couldn't be happier with the results. This was an outstanding match and the finish looks factory if you do it right. Make sure you properly wetsand and buff your clearcoat afterwards as normal.

Dennis T, owner of a 2016 Toyota Avalon from San Jose, CA

These people make fabulous products. I've used their paint bottles and aerosol spray paint for my old and new cars. The paint always matches perfectly, levels nicely and looks great. I did a nice interior restoration using Automotive Touchup spray paint on my 1998 Camaro SS. It looks amazing. And it is less expensive than OEM paint. I wouldn't even consider any other company for my auto touch up paints.

Ronald J, owner of a 2016 Toyota from Summerville, SC

I had to replace the rocker panel on the passenger side and paint it the color of the car and it came out and you can't tell the difference.
