To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2013 Toyota Tundra, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. I received the two paint pens, 1g3 Metallic Gray and a clear coat pen. The color was a very close match and I am pleased with the results. You have to be patient when applying the paint to a scratch. For best results mask of the area after a thorough cleaning and apply very thin coats, wet sanding and the use of paint thinners may be required. Lastly apply the clear coat and allow to dry. Finally, apply a polish to the entire area after removing the masking. My results were better than expected. You can trust automotive touchup's products.
