My paint matched exactly, (sapphire dark blue) even though my car is 20 years old. it does not appear to have the metallic sparkle or the high gloss, but that may be in the clear coat cover...which I should get. I also purchased the primer which helped to cover light areas that were not steel. I only needed to use a tiny bit of paint for very small areas of touch up, but bought a whole can...just in case.

I was very impressed with the color match, I was painting a fiberglass scoop for a Subaru which was ruby red mica with clear and I truly was surprised how nice it came out. I painted cars for 30+ yrs but had to quit for health reasons......so doing what I did didn't hurt. A+ from me! Ray Meoni,Taylor,Pa.
