CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1969 Subaru (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Subaru paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1969 Subaru (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Barry K, owner of a 2020 Subaru Legacy from West Yarmouth, MA

The paint match up for the Tungsten Metallic paint on our 2020 Subaru Legacy is perfect, can't tell where the factory paint stops and the Automotive Touchup begins. Excellent, seamless match!

Sharon F, owner of a 2002 Subaru Legacy from Eighty Four, PA

The website instructions for ordering touch up paint were easy to navigate. I called to confirm my choices for my Subaru Legacy Outback and was greeted by a pleasant (real) voice. He made sure I ordered correctly and asked if I had any other questions. My order arrived in good condition, the color was perfect, and I was very happy with my experience. Will recommend to friends and family. Thank you Automotive Touchup! -Sharon F.

Pat P, owner of a 2002 Subaru Legacy from Sparta, MI

Great Color Match, Quality & Service. Bookmarked the site so if someone inquirers about paint, I will be able to highly recommend you. Thank you for doing your part in my life. As a Jack-of-All Trades and a master of none, I was apprehensive about doing this project. I did a little research of how to, then jumped in with both feet to, as they say, Get-r-done. Thanks, R & P Powell
