To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2007 Saturn Ion Sedan, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker called Parts Identification. I ordered the base coat and the clear coat for my 2007 Saturn Ion. The color code for the base coat was on a tag inside the vehicle trunk. I bought the car used with only 40,000 miles on it and in excellent condition except for a few scrapes on the right rear bumper wrapping around to the right rear wheel. I used some body glazing, primer and your base and clear coats. The color you sent matched perfectly. I applied four coats of both the base and clear coats. The finish matches the factory both in color and gloss. Very pleased with the results!!!
