The code can start with BC/CC followed by a U, or a WA with a four digit number/letter combination. We use the WA format for simplicity, your code may have a U. WA8555 is the same as U8555. I had two small repairs. A body shop would have had to paint both full sections costing hundreds of dollars.. I just body puttied, sanded the damaged areas, masked around the repaired spots and painted. Of course there was a line at the masked off part. Later I took some 2000 grit sand paper...then rubbing compound..... and wax.... can.t even see the line. The Automotivetouchup color match was perfect and quick service.
