CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 Porsche 968, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Porsche paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2011 Porsche 968 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Jon G, owner of a 2011 Porsche Panamera from Silvis, IL

I have used your product on my car before. Did a really fine job, I ordered some more for future issues - hope to not use in any volume in the future!!! matched perfectly!

Gregroy D, owner of a 2012 Porsche Panamera from Mystic, CT

The paint is a good match. The only complaint that I have is that the paint is a little watery. Any suggestions for "thickening" it up so it won't run? Thanks. [ATU Note: The basecoat touch up paint was designed to be applied thin to mimic the painting process used in a bodyshop. Making it thicker could mean the color wouldn't match as well since the metallic won't lay flat or spread out as smooth. After dipping the brush in the paint please try to wipe the excess off into the side of the bottle's mouth to apply less to the car.]
