CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 Porsche Cayman S, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Porsche paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2008 Porsche Cayman S is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Nick, owner of a 2008 Porsche Cayman S from Dundee, IL

This paint was a perfect match for the paint. It also worked great for touching up the wheel bolts.

John J, owner of a 2008 Porsche Cayman S from Reston, VA

Very pleased with the results. My seven-year-old Porsche has been used for long trips and for commuting, and everything in between. My car is maintained by a racecar mechanic (and driver), who has modified it for better performance in handling and speed. The point is, I drive it. The car does not sit in a show car garage. That said, it's gotten a few dings. Lowered to only three inches, a lot of the dings are in the front. Nothing serious, but paint has been chipped off. I used your touchup paint and it looks much better. I don't pretend it's new or pristine, but it gets admiring looks from others. The color is a midtone gray, called meteor gray in Porsche parlance, so dings and dirt don't show up as much as they would with a black or white car. Bottom line: I like your product. I'll use it again.

JC, owner of a 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo from Cincinnati, OH

You would think white is, well, white. But apparently there are shades of white, go figure. The touch up I received white for my car matches PERFECTLY! No idea how they got it so close but no kidding it's spot on! THANKS!
