Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2003 Porsche 911 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Great products and great service. Thanks for having what I needed!

Edward M, owner of a 2002 Porsche from Sandy, UT

First, the paint is a good match to the OEM color. As is typical with these types of paint, the prep work is important. Divots in paint can't really be filled with the touch-up paint and then sanded and polished unless you have an entire weekend. I would like to see the paint have a flex ingredient added. I typically use a razor blade to plane the overfill (hump) and the paint is rather brittle and during the scraping process, sometimes pulls a chip out of the hole that was filled. A softer formula might improve the finish time to make it blend more easily into the existing paint.
