CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2017 Nissan Quest, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Nissan paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2017 Nissan Quest is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Stephen W, owner of a 2016 Nissan Versa from Savannah, GA

I was skeptical of ordering pre-mixed paint for a vehicle bumper I was painting. I received the paint in a timely manner and painted my bumper. I forgot the clear coat so I used DuPont clear over the paint because I had already painted the bumper and it was an emergency otherwise I would have ordered the clear from here. I was under the impression the paint was a one time shot pre mixed with everything until I read the back of the can. Clear coat separate. Either way the clear coat from DuPont worked great and the paint looks very very similar to original. Not 100% but so close you need a trained eye to notice the darkness deference in the metallic grey. I am very please with they results because local paint shops wanted 300 bucks + to paint a already primed bumper. So I ordered everything compressor, paint gun, etc and painted it myself. For everyone reading this, you can do anything if you put your mind to it and a little help from automotivetouchup. Thanks

Doug, owner of a 2016 Nissan 370Z from Cincinnati, OH

I had bad scrapes on the underside of my car, yet still visible from a few feet away (the front quarter panel wraps under at a 45 degree angle). I ordered the aerosol cans, which, for my car, require the tri-color (base, mid, clear coat) in order to give it the Pearl tone of the original paint. I tested it on the test-strip, first applying the base then the mid. I was impressed by the match. The test strip provided me with some ease of mind that it the color would in fact match the color of my car. It also gives you a bit of practice on how quickly to spray the can and how much paint to apply so as not to have it look splotchy. Subsequently, I performed the same process on the scrapes. I was very impressed on how the color blended right in. I would definitely recommend AutomotiveTouchUp for dings, scratches, scrapes, etc.
