CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Nissan Xterra, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Nissan paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2005 Nissan Xterra is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Stephen V, owner of a 2005 Nissan Xterra from San Antonio, TX

The exterior color of the spray paint matched perfectly. The manner in which both of the spray cans delivered the paint was disappointing. I thought that the spray tips were going to be adjustable. The aerosol on both cans came out in wide, flood type of aerosol. It was very difficult in controlling exactly where the aerosol was directed. The end result was fair. I wish I had a better experience.

Brian A, owner of a 2005 Nissan Xterra from Cincinnati, OH

Order was shipped and delivered sooner than expected, color was a perfect match.

Mark M, owner of a 2005 Nissan Xterra from Maumelle, AR

I ordered the paint in a spray can and it matched perfectly. I’m very satisfied.

Braley Simonton, owner of a 2005 Nissan Xterra from Jacksonville

Okay, so I did a poor job trying to use a touchup pen and decided since my truck is a 2005, I thought...worst case scenario, "call Maaco" is a mess up with the spray can. It was only a front fender but I was amazed when I was done. The color matched perfectly and I painted a section of 10-12in x 6-8in which overlapped onto the original paint with no noticeable difference in the Florida sunlight. Now it's time to give the hood a try.

John E, owner of a 2005 Nissan Xterra from Aurora, CO

The paint color matched the car paint color perfectly. We could not see a difference between the colors. It is a tremendous value, considering what is being offered on the market. It was a dent on the right front fender of the car, almost next to the head-light, of about 2inch in diameter and paint removed of about 11/2 inch, and also some deep scratches, caused by another car apparently backing up in a parking lot. Looking for the correct color, even at the Nissan Dealership, seemed to be difficult. My son recommended we contact you. I am happy we did took his advice. It did not even take long for the paint to dry, and the car looks like new. Thanks again for the correct color match. John

Jack J, owner of a 2005 Nissan Xterra from Santa Fe, NM

The color match was perfect.
