CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2005 Nissan GT-R, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for Nissan paint code location diagrams and label examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2005 Nissan GT-R is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

William C, owner of a 2005 Nissan Frontier from Floyd, VA

Paint worked very well. I followed instructions to the letter and repair is undetectable.

Keith G, owner of a 2006 Nissan Sentra from Westbrook, ME

The paint is high quality and matches the original color perfectly. I should have sanded down the rust spot back to bare metal to make it smooth first. Regardless, using the base product first with a few coats smoothed some of the rough spots. The paint was applied next, and then the clear coat. I recommend using gloves as the bottles are full and can spill over a bit. Using the included brush was fine but again wear gloves and put down a towel to catch drips.
