Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2004 Mitsubishi 3000GT is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Felix, owner of a 2003 Mitsubishi Montero from Deltona, Florida

I am a semi-retired Dupont Experienced Refinisher and Body man and a Certified ASE Master Refinishing/Body Repair Technician whom relocated 12 years ago to Florida after selling my Body repair Shop in Puerto Rico and never again work here in that capacity. Recently, My next door neighbor wanted me to fix several bad looking scratches on both front and rear bumpers on her 2003 Montero. I decided to re-polish my skills on a Probono basis for labor, she paid for materials and ordered all the needed materials that I would normally use from your company. The bumper paint code is S74 and the needed materials were ordered in 12 oz Aerosol Spray Cans: Primer, Base Coat (S74), Clear coat and Plastic Adhesion Promoter, also a 3M Vapor Respirator, Prep Solvent in a 2 oz bottle, a Spray Can Trigger, sand papers in 3 dif grits, masking tape, tack rag, and so on. I was exceptical to tell you the truth, because I have never used any refinishing spray cans to do any refinishing work, but decided to give it a try. To my amazement and embezzlement, I was very Impressed to experience the great quality products that you have and the spray paint cans could actually atomize the product so fine, even and uniform with each pass. Also, the paint color was a PERFECT COLOR MATCH. I took Several digital photos Before, during and at the end that can back up my words.I have transformed that Montero to a Top Notch new condition, thanks to your products. Thanks you very much.

Charles M, owner of a 2003 Mitsubishi Spyder from Conifer, CO

Both the spray paint and touch up paint in a bottle were almost perfect matches, and of course easy to use. I did not know that a clear coat should be used after the spray paint, but it looks great anyway.
