CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2000 Mitsubishi Space Runner, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Click here for a Mitsubishi paint code location diagram and label example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2000 Mitsubishi Space Runner is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Frank D, owner of a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant from Walton Hills, OH

Worked out nicely. I recommend using a compressor and dialing the air control down to the recommended setting. I didn't have this option unfortunately. Paint goes on thin. You must do at least three or four coats. It's hard to mess it up if you maintain even coats. The paint was an exact match. Of course it is darker on older cars that have since faded, but you can blend it in and nobody can tell the difference. Clear coat when on nicely. Saved a boatload of money covering up rusty spots on the car.

Ronald H, owner of a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant from Arvada, CO

The paint was an excellent match and the clear coat made the work look flawless. I used 2000 grit wet sandpaper on minor scratches, etc. and used 3M 3000 and 5000 grit foam pads to finish the job. I do recommend your products to anyone who will listen to me! Thanks again - Ron H
