CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2014 Mercedes-Benz E Class, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. 2009 lexus metallic gray 460L. Near perfect match. Did not and probably would not try on horizontal surface, but on bumper (vertical surface) you must get closer than 12" to see difference between factory paint texture and repair texture. Beyond 12" can not find repair. Three coats of paint and four of spray clear coat. 2014 brand new non-metallic black Mercedes E. Front bumper scratch. Used successive coats from touch up pen to fill scratch followed by 1000 and 1200 grit paper. Then color spray. 100% exact match. Texture 99% perfect. You will need 10 things to do job right.
