CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS Class, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. This is the second time I've ordered paint and this time I used it on a Mercedes. The color was a perfect match , I was extremely hesitant to attempt a major touch up on my car but went for it anyway as a dealer repair would have been several thousand dollars. I recommend spending alot of time on the prep of the area first , prep twice , paint once. Also I suggest the instructions stress the need to shake the can vigorously for at least 15 minutes to completely mix the color, and purchase the clear to finish.
