CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Mercedes-Benz Vito, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. The paint code will either be three or four digits. Some times the code will have a prefix of DB but this is not consistant. Click here for Mercedes Benz examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Mercedes-Benz Vito is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Marion W, owner of a 2008 Mercedes-Benz S Class from Cumming, GA

Your paint was a great match for my 2008 Mercedes. Got a bad scrape in a parking lot. The prep was easy, applied several coats of the paint. After drying, topped with the clear coat. Almost impossible to tell old from new. Very satisfied with your products.

Robert L, owner of a 2008 Mercedes-Benz GL Class from Maineville, OH

As my first attempt, it took me several coats with sanding in between to get a feel for how much paint could be applied without runs, but I'd say the result was a perfect color match if not quite as glossy as the factory paint. The cost was so nominal compared to the alternatives that I would encourage anyone to use this solution before turning to other far more expensive options.
