CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. The paint code will either be three or four digits. Some times the code will have a prefix of DB but this is not consistant. Click here for Mercedes Benz examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2009 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Ray H, owner of a 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLK Class from Wexford, PA

Bought the M-B Artic White for my wife's 2008 SLK280. She had been stopped under a railroad bridge at a traffic light when a handful of pig iron pellets fell onto her car, denting the trunk lid and nicking the paint in several places. This happened right before storing it for the winter in the mines near here. Insurance paid to fix it, so she hurriedly got it done, then picked up the car and put in the mines on her appointed day. When we got it out this spring, I noticed some "road rash" up front and on the hood, along with a dime sized dent on the trunk about 1/8" deep that had been missed. I ordered the paint and primer, putty glazed and sanded the dent out, and used an inexpensive toy models airbrush (about $25) to spray the primer, sanded it, then sprayed several coats of the Arctic White, wet sanding between each coat. After a final sanding and polishing compound session, neither myself or (more importantly!) my wife could see where the original paint left off and the Automotive Touchup started - the fix was undetectable in both bright noon sun and evening shade. I then used a very small dabber brush (the ones you can order along with your paint) and went around the car, filling the pits and "rash" on the front and hood. After wetsanding and polishing compound, the pits and rash are gone. I *KNOW* where everything was but can't find the touchups in sun or shade. This is a long way of saying that the color was a perfect match on her car, and the paint buffs/sh

I love AutomotiveTouchup for the ease of ordering, and the quality of the products. I was able to vastly upgrade the appearance of my car by spot-re-spraying the corners. Paint match was decent (8 year old metallic paint faded). Most importantly, I feel like I'm driving a car that looks as good as it did when I bought it.
