To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2009 Mercedes-Benz G Class, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. Excellent base color and gloss match to original Mercedes color. Could not justify $2,000 for replacing and painting the two doors and rear wheel well area considering the limited damage. Used some body filler, sanding, and sprayed the base coat and gloss and although I could have done a better job feathering the masked area, I did some additional sanding and reapplied gloss coat.
