To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2008 Mercedes-Benz Truck, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. The touch-up paint for my 2007 Mercedes c230 was dead on. It was a bit thick but sometimes that helps deeper scratches. A single drop of acetone in the lid of a shaken bottle made for a better penetration on smaller scratches, waited a week before a small bit of sanding with 2000 then 3000 grit. Polished and waxed out nicely.
