To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2002 Mercedes-Benz G Class, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. Used aerosol cans to repaint a new plastic bumper. Coverage was good and color an excellent match. Clear coat not as shiny as factory paint job. Will try buffing in a few weeks. Some splattering can occur using these cans, but overall good value and more convenient than setting up the compressor, mixing paint and using a spray gun.
