Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1998 Mercedes-Benz Cla Class is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Roy G, owner of a 1999 Mercedes-Benz Ml Class from Boynton Beach, FL

Great product, just be sure to clean surface first and to follow the steps and directions carefully

Clint Hightower, owner of a 1999 Mercedes-Benz SLK Class from Elk Grove, CA

This paint is some of the best I have ever used. In addition to the excellent product, the directions are equally as well done and the shipping is fast and well packed. I have done dealer looking paint repair jobs on my wifes mercedes and another one I bought to sell. The prep and technique are key, one very important point I learned the hard way was don't sand in between the base and clear coat applications. the clear coat is a smaller finer molecule that really fills in the rough base just as described and make it look perfect. I highly recommend this product and the directions, whoever wrote them really paid attention to what they were writing. Follow them and you will have great looking paint jobs!
