CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1993 Mercedes-Benz G Class, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. Hello Folks, I received the Spray paint I ordered ahead of the scheduled date - a nice surprise. I had already prepped the inside of my engine bay and cross member where I was going to spray and to right to it. The paint is a beautiful match and the coverage excellent. My only observation was that when spraying down on the cross member I could not get the smooth service as I did when spraying with the can upright. I've ordered two different colors plus clear coat for both my cars and I'm happy with the results. The spray cans work great and the color match is right on. I was painting bumpers so there is a small gap and wasn't trying to blend the new paint into the old. The only problem I have is the time for orders to process. For some reason I can get a bumper delivered in two days but it takes 10 days to receive the paint. Other than that, I'm happy with the results. Thanks!
