My car is a 1982 Mercedes and I wanted to know if the color could be matched by this company so I ordered a small amount with a brush. I did not know if my car had been repainted either so I was thinking if they matched the color the car was not repainted since from what I can tell it is not repainted. The only areas that need painting are the hood, the trunk and the top. My plan is to first find out if this company can match color, THEY can! Most body shops tell me we need to paint whole car since they all say we can never get correct color match. My game plan, if it works out, is to go to them with the paint and say can you paint it with this paint and have the paint in hand! This way they are off the hook and I can spend less and only get painted what I want painted. They want $2,250 for entire car, hope I can get 3 areas for less than half this.
