CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1965 Mercedes-Benz C Class, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. The paint code will either be three or four digits. Some times the code will have a prefix of DB but this is not consistant. Click here for Mercedes Benz examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1965 Mercedes-Benz C Class is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Richard S, owner of a 2007 Mercedes-Benz S Class from Forest Park, GA

I only had a few scratches on the door I bought two pens because I wasn't absolutely sure of the color and behold I got a perfect match. Great product!

Matt, owner of a 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL Class from Huntsville, AR

Good quality paint. It fixed a blemish on the car that was terrible looking. Looking at the paint color in the door jam it is the same color paint from Automotive Touch Up. The only reason it is not an exact match is because of 13 years of fading on the original paint but that is understandable.
