CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1963 Mercedes-Benz (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The code on your identificaiton sticker will normally have many numbers in it with no prefix identifying a number as a paint code. The paint code will either be three or four digits. Some times the code will have a prefix of DB but this is not consistant. Click here for Mercedes Benz examples.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1963 Mercedes-Benz (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

John R, owner of a 2000 Mercedes-Benz SL Class from Ca

This was a great match , if your looking at the car you won't see it, only if you know where the touch up is .. I will definitely buy this for my other cars, and I know the dealers price would have been expensive .... Very very pleased ...

Robert T, owner of a 2000 Mercedes-Benz E Class from Highland Park, IL

The color match was excellent and given the age of the car much better than expected. The several small spots that required touchup are virtually invisible.

Carol P, owner of a 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK Class from Moss Beach, CA

I had a scrape on the front fender where I brushed against a rock. Used AutomotiveTouchUp website to easily order the color matching my car. The 1/2 oz bottle of brush -on paint that arrived within the week. The burgundy color was a terrific match and the scrape disappeared. Thanks for mixing great paint and for providing a much-needed service.
