CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2012 Mazda Mazda2, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb or on the firewall. Click here for Mazda paint code locations and a label example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2012 Mazda Mazda2 is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Barbara B, owner of a 2012 Mazda Mazda2 from Crescent City, CA

Very pleased, just what I hoped for. Thank you for your service.

Stacey M, owner of a 2012 Mazda Mazda2 from Newport, RI

I used your product yesterday and all went well. I purchased the following products to touch up some of minor scratches. Paint Pen, Sandpaper, clear coat pen, and primer pen. The only criticism I have is the how to videos may be a little longer and show a little more detail on the step by step procedure using the primer, pen and clear coat. Also it too a minute to get the primer, pen and clear coat to come out of the pen so it would have been great to know that before attempting the process. The last suggestion would be when shipping out your products is to have directions printed out with the product so I didn't have to keep referring to your site. These are just suggestions for someone like myself who doesn't know much about the process. I do feel like your product was a great value and did a great job once I got the hang of it.

Robert B, owner of a 2011 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 from Brick, NJ

Perfect match. I don't know how they did it and I don't care. All I know is the chips in my paint look like they never existed. Very happy customer.
