CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2002 Mazda MPV, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb or on the firewall. Click here for Mazda paint code locations and a label example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2002 Mazda MPV is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Wade W, owner of a 2002 Mazda MPV from Herndon, VA

The products I bought were exactly what I expected. The ready to spray acrylic primer, paint, and clear coat all worked well. The paint color was almost a perfect match on a 18 year old car. I am not a professional painter but was able to get an excellent result. This was my first attempt at painting with a paint sprayer so it took a little effort to get the spray and air mixture correct I was fixing my car from a fender bender which required some minor body work and a replacement bumper cover that I got from a salvage yard but was the wrong color. The sandable primer allowed me to smooth out some of the minor imperfections in my “not so perfect” body work. The paint covered well on both the metal surfaces and the rubber bumper cover. I would recommend your products to other professional and do-it-yourselfers.

Roy J, owner of a 2002 Mazda MPV from Erie, CO

Paint matches perfectly. I am very happy with the results. Thanks.

Charlotte D, owner of a 2002 Mazda MPV from TX

What can I say except EXCELLENT!! My Mazda van is 12 yrs old so I certainly had my doubts about this product matching. But, was I surprised. It now looks like its had a professional paint job. The products AND INSTRUCTIONS are easy to use and follow. So glad I found AutomotiveTouchup.

Ernst D, owner of a 2002 Mazda MPV from Roslindale, MA

Very impressive !!! I had to remove a lot of rust from the bottom of my doors before they become worse. I went to two different body shops, and they asked me from 900 to $1400 to fix it. By searching on GOOGLE, I found ATU and I took my chance. I have nothing else to say than that you're doing a wonderful and professional job guys. PERFECT MATCH, PRODUCT OF GOOD QUALITY. I have just ordered one more to finish the job. Thanks for making me save money!
