Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1989 Jeep Wagoneer is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Carl K, owner of a 1990 Jeep from Centennial, CO

The color is a good match. Very expensive when including the shipping.

Zack N, owner of a 1990 Jeep from IL

These guy's are great! I've purchased paint from them multiple times. This time was for my 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I was getting tired of the scraped up paint that the Jeep had under the woodgrain on the doors and the quarter panels. I was also getting sick of the rocker panels that were rusted out. So, I fixed that all up, got rid of the rust and sanded down the paint it had before. It was interesting finding paint for the wagon. It's a 1990 model, but the vin number and all the codes (including paint code) were arranged as a 1991 model year. After I figure that out, I purchased the "Black Cherry Pearl Coat" and AT's own clear coat in the aerosol cans. I got the metal all prepped for paint and finally painted it last week. It looked great, even with just the paint on it. I got the clear on it, and it just "pops"! Now it looks too good to be driving it around like a Jeep! This paint matches pretty good, not perfect but good. The rest of the paint on the upper half is just too worn in comparison. I just gotta say, I am quite happy with this. It looks great!
