CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 1967 Jeep (All Models), we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. Newer Jeep models usually have the paint code in the door jamb. Most paint codes are three digits long and start with a P or Q and contains letters and/or numbers. Click here for more Jeep paint code locations and paint code images.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 1967 Jeep (All Models) is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Andy S, owner of a 1997 Jeep Wrangler from Lewis Center, OH

I recently had some body rust repaired on my '97 Wrangler - rust/rot cut out and replaced with new metal near both rear fender wells and under tailgate on both sides, typical Jeep rust spots). I decided to give the re-painting of those 4 spots a try myself using aerosol paint and clearcoat. I purchased everything I needed from Automotive Touch Up, including sandpaper, masking tape and prep products. I followed all of the guidance and videos on your website, and the repair/paint honestly turned out even better than I could have expected! Thank you!

Joshua K, owner of a 2000 Jeep Cherokee from Chelmsford, MA

Absolutely love the quality of this paint. Such a refresh; really brings the life back!

Alan I, owner of a 1982 Jeep from Thousand Oaks, CA

I have used the aerosol two stage paints on five different cars to date. I used them to mainly repaint plastic bumpers since they tend to fade and peel. I did repaint a rocker panel on our 2005 Lexus LS430 where it was scratched on a curb I had to add a little glazing putty stuff, sanded primered the area and was able to paint and feathered in the area into the original paint and it matched exactly! The last car was my 1982 Jeep CJ7 where I needed to repaint the front of the Jeep (Hood and front fenders) I actually found a Toyota paint that matched the Jeep original paint and painted the front area with 2 coats of the base color and 3 coats of clear and it looks really good with no orange peel and I haven't even rubbed out the clear coat!! What I really like about this paint is how it fans out like a spray guy and the paints go on very even and smooth.
