After being damaged, I replaced my side mirror with a replacement I found on-line which ended up not being the right color (lighter silver than my car). I purchased the aerosol can touch up paint and repainted it. I also sprayed some paint into the cap and brushed it onto a few rock chips. Color match was good and finish quality achieved using the spray can is just as good as the original mirror on the other side. I followed the instructions, putting on a few coats with dry time in between and it turned out great! And plenty of paint left over for future use.
