CLEAR COAT IS REQUIRED WITH THIS PAINT

To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2006 Honda Ridgeline, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. Click here for Honda paint code location chart and paint code image example.

Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2006 Honda Ridgeline is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Robert W, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Athens, WI

I recently purchased this vehicle and body is in great condition except for rear bumper scratched-up pretty bad probably from backing up into trailer. First thought was to replace it, I have done this in the past. After coming across your site, decided to save a lot of money and time and could not be more pleased. Color was a perfect match, paint dispensed perfectly and coverage was amazing, my wife could not believe it. Thank-you so much for an outstanding product. Bob W.

Andy F, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Scottsdale, AZ

Color was spot on, ordering was a breeze, shipping was timely, well organized company, thank you.

Lee F, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Georgetown, TX

Everything turned out perfectly. I was confused because the spray can top was not the color I wanted. After calling I found out it wasn't supposed to match the actual desired color. When I finally used the paint all came out just fine. Will use you all again if necessary. Because I thought I was sent the wrong color I called and the conversation with the associate was professional and resolved my questions. For further information, because of the cap color I ran a sample on a piece of cardboard. The spray on the cardboard did not look like the color I needed. When I sprayed the vehicle it was perfect.

Robert C, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Sacramento, CA

Have not used the paint yet. When I do I will submit a review.

Nancy, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Mass

I scraped my husband's truck along a cement wall. The paint was scraped off on the whole back door. Everyone mentioned it and of course, and I took the blame as I should. I felt badly about it. I couldn't afford to have it professionally painted so I thought I would try this paint. The paint is a perfect match. You would never know about the damage. I did not do a perfect job but it looks fine. You would never know. My husband is very happy with it. Well worth the price. Good product.

Oleg M, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Saint-Laurent, QC

Michelle S, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Chicopee, MA

Eric H, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Bay Area, CA

I busted my passenger side mirror because a parking garage pole jumped out at me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I thought long and hard of what to do - go to a body shop and have them do everything, replace the mirror glass or leave it as is. After doing some research and looking at the videos on the website, it seemed like painting a replacement part was something I could handle. I purchased a replacement mirror and then purchased all of the prep and finishing materials from automotivetouchup.com. I took my time to make sure I was doing things right. I didn't have a spray booth so I just sprayed out in the open over several wind-free days, which was not ideal but worked surprisingly well. The mirror turned out great and the paint matches well. It's good to know that real professional materials we're used in this repair, that its virtually undetectable and I've got the ability (and pride) of doing it myself.

Dan J, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Croton On Hudson, NY

Followed the simple directions and was able to complete a plastic bumper repair on my Ridgeline. Looks good and saved hundreds over a body shop.
