Why The Two-Step Paint System?

Your 2006 Honda ZR-V is painted at the factory with a high quality basecoat/clearcoat system. This two-step paint system consists of step one, the basecoat, which is your car’s actual color, and step two, the clearcoat, the specially formulated clear paint that protects the base color and provides the luster and deep shine your vehicle came with when new. AutomotiveTouchup products faithfully reproduce your vehicle manufacturer’s basecoat/clearcoat system.

Here's what our customers are saying about our Touch Up Paint:

Eric H, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Bay Area, CA

I busted my passenger side mirror because a parking garage pole jumped out at me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I thought long and hard of what to do - go to a body shop and have them do everything, replace the mirror glass or leave it as is. After doing some research and looking at the videos on the website, it seemed like painting a replacement part was something I could handle. I purchased a replacement mirror and then purchased all of the prep and finishing materials from automotivetouchup.com. I took my time to make sure I was doing things right. I didn't have a spray booth so I just sprayed out in the open over several wind-free days, which was not ideal but worked surprisingly well. The mirror turned out great and the paint matches well. It's good to know that real professional materials we're used in this repair, that its virtually undetectable and I've got the ability (and pride) of doing it myself.

Michelle S, owner of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline from Chicopee, MA
