To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2015 GMC Sierra, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. Received my white diamond tri-coat touch up paint for my 2015 GMC Sierra Denali. A much better solution for chips, etc. than the GM single bottle of touch up paint that does not cover well. The Automotive Touchup brushes in the small bottles are not pointed enough apply to small chips without looking sloppy and I use artist brushes with pinpoint tips, which work well. Dave in Nebr.

The color match was excellent, but, hindsight being 20/20....I should've got the 1/2 ounce bottle touch-up. The felt tip of the pen was too large and allowed much more paint to flow than was needed for my numerous stone chips/marks. (gravel truck with tailgate ajar?? IDIOT driver!!) I ended up using a toothpick with a very slight amount of paint transferred from the pen. The clear coat pen seemed unnecessary for my use.
