To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2012 GMC Acadia, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. A really good product. Mixed a small dab of clear with the paint and applied. Waited approx. 1/2 hr. went over with the clear and it's very hard to see anything at all. Cut a round toothpick off at a point about the size of the chip and made sure the end was flat. Used this to apply. You must shake the paint up very well before using !!! Thank You for a superior product at a very fair price!!!
