To ensure your paint repair blends in perfectly, you'll need to apply a clear coat over the color coat. While AutomotiveTouchup paint products are custom mixed to perfectly match the color of your 2011 GMC Sierra, we use the same basecoat/clearcoat system as your factory specs. You can add a clear coat to your order on the next step. The color code will be located on a sticker named Parts Identification. The color match is spot on. Unfortunately, I applied the brush on primer/paint/clear coat in direct sunlight on some areas of the truck and the color darkened. The areas without direct sunlight came out just right. I should've known better than to apply primer/paint/clear coat in direct sunlight.

The paint was perfect for my 2011 GMC Sierra. I used it on areas that were not very visable, to fix places that had some chipped paint and had started to rust a little(hinge area of tailgate & edge of wheel well). The 2 oz. Bottles were great, after I had tried to use a Paint Pen from a local dealership prior to ordering the bottles from Automotivetouchup.
