I ordered the touch up pen and clear coat pen to repair a scratch on my truck. I thought this pen would work, but it did not flow smoothly and could not cover the scratch. I am sure this was my fault. I should have ordered the touchup paint, but the scratch was so small, I did not think the brush was necessary. I will get a small bottle of touchup paint locally and see if this will successfully cover the scratch.

I bought a used truck with a custom box insert. When I removed the insert. I found spots that had rubbed through the paint. I bought touch up paint just to ward off the rust. Sanded the spots, primed and light sanded the primer. Then touchup painted. I was not looking for a professional job, but was amazed how well it turned out with minimal effort. Thanks again.

Hi your paint was a perfect match. My 3rd middle brake/cab light was leaking and it cause a minor but blistering/rusting of the paint around the lens. Using your products I sanded the rust areas down as best I could, I then used a rust converter product to provide some assurance that the rust was stopped then brushed on your primer, several coats. I sanded the primer and sprayed on the base coat, again several coats and then sprayed the clear coat(several coats). Other than some over spray of the clear coat ( looks like a matt finish) on some of the finish that I was not touching up the repair looks perfect! I expect that I will be able to buff out the area of over spray. It did take me 2 tries as the first attempt I had cleanly masked off the area and ended up with lines of paint that were slightly off so I cleaned it off with acetone, removed the masking and just sprayed, feathering off at the edges... this gave a superb blended finish... I only kept the masking covering the back window to protect it from the over-spray. Thank you for a great product. I know this saved me hundreds of dollars... next I will be working on the front cab lights as there is blistering/rusting of the paint around the center light. Rick from Massachusetts

I got some u213m gmc sierra grey metallic color which I was told is pretty hard to match. The paint wasnt exact but extremely close to what it was. I am really glad I went through AutomotiveTouchup I had tried others in past and they didn't work out as well. Paint is competitively priced and I also bought some clear gloss coat which was a ok product wish I had bought more. Hope it holds up. I haven't had it out in the rain yet. Hope this helps. I was very happy to find your web site. In the past touch up paint was only available from the dealer and you were limited to touch up bottles or small spray cans. If you did not buy the paint within the year you purchased the vehicle you were usually out of luck! To be able to buy custom mixed paint in a large spray can and primer, clear coat and other supplies was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! The fact that I just could buy one can and not the whole case was the clincher for me. I have not had the chance to use the products I purchased yet due to the fact it keeps raining here in the northeast but I have no doubt that your product will perform has advertised. Hopefully it will be nice on my next day off as I am looking forward to using your product to get this job done. I will let you know how the match comes out thank you. Eric
